Let's take on the challenge with the information we have learned about each of the six fields.

First, I need to make a new yearly and monthly plan on what to do first.

Ah~~~~~ I’m excited. 💕The excitement of new fields is rising.

I always seem to have a lot of questions before starting a new field.

  👍👍👍

So, shall we upload information related to each field?!

'Freediving'

The free and quiet world encountered in the water

Freediving refers to all activities performed underwater without breathing. There are three types of freediving: static apnea, dynamic apnea, and constant weight/free immersion. In Korea, freediving education was first started at AFIA in 2010, and currently, freediving programs are operated by several associations such as AFIA, AIDA, CMAS, PADI, PFI, PSAI, RAID, SNSI, and SSI.

Competitions involving freediving to reach the maximum depth while in apnea, diving horizontally the maximum distance, and holding one's breath for a long time are well known to the public.

There has been an increase in the number of people in their 20s and 30s learning freediving as a hobby and posting photos on social media. In the MBC entertainment program <I Live Alone>, a scene of actor Lee Kyu-hyung enjoying free diving was introduced. The point is ‘apnea’. Unlike scuba diving, where you breathe underwater while wearing an air tank and respirator, freediving does not rely on breathing equipment. It is similar to the material of haenyeo. Freediving involves floating underwater without breathing, diving deeply, and feeling the flow of water.

Just as track and field events are divided into short distance, long distance, and continuous running, freediving also has individual events. For example, STA (static) involves holding your breath with your nose and mouth submerged in the water, CWT (constant weight) involves competing to see who can go down to the deeper water wearing fins, and descending without fins by holding on to a rope connected to a buoy floating on the surface. Such as the rising FIM (pre-impulsion). World-class divers gather to compete for records in freediving competitions held by international diving associations such as AIDA and CMAS.

<K-26, Freediving Mecca>

The place where freediving training was held is K-26 in Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do, an indoor diving pool where you can enjoy freediving all year round. The pool depth is 26m. The pool at the height of the 10th floor apartment building is the deepest in Asia. Equipped with an open water area (ocean or ocean-equivalent diving pool) with a depth of less than 10m, it not only attracts those who want to dive, but is also popular as a training ground. The water, which maintains a temperature of 28℃ all year round, is drawn from groundwater from Gapyeong, and underwater CCTVs are located throughout the area to prepare for any accidents.

 'scuba diving'

Scuba diving is underwater diving that involves diving wearing a buoyancy control vest and wearing a self-contained underwater breathing apparatus. The English SCUBA was originally a noun referring to diving equipment, but now the diving activity itself using this type of equipment is also referred to as scuba, and is also used in adjective language. For recreational divers, the maximum diving depth is approximately 40 meters. The maximum diving time is about 3 and a half hours. However, the deeper you dive, the shorter the time.

10 reasons you should learn to dive

You can explore a world that many people have yet to see. The ocean covers 71% of the Earth's surface, and scuba diving is recommended to see the wider world.

You can feel like escaping from the frustrating daily life amidst industrialization. There is no need to answer phones or reply to emails while underwater. I can only focus on breathing and can only see through the mask. It's fantastic most of the time.

Experience weightlessness. Does gravity always pull down? Diving allows you to dive and feel amazing places that neither sink nor float.

Improve your equalization skills for flying and mountain drives. Once you master the skill of equalizing by ear through diving, you can do it anywhere.

Relive the incredible history hidden beneath the sea. You can also explore shipwrecks sunken to the ocean floor, including World War II ships and airplanes.

The muscles that carry the tank help you bowl well.

Scuba divers learn how to communicate underwater without speaking. Mastering non-verbal communication and using hand signals like ‘let’s go up’ and ‘okay’ are very convenient when you want to let them know that the party is over and it’s time to leave.

You can surprise others with your newly acquired knowledge. Learn about PSI and compressed air through scuba cylinders. Since we know that an empty tank weighs less than a full tank, we also know that a deflated soccer ball weighs less than a fully inflated one.

You can meet more friends on social media. This may be the most effective if you want to meet a lot of friends.

You know that it's really cool to just keep going quietly. As you become a diver, you understand that providing air is of utmost importance, and one trick is to breathe slowly and move slowly and deliberately. It can also be effective in promoting good sleep.
